Quick update!

Just a quick update to say i'm currently working towards getting experience in doing creative events so my drawings taken a bit of a backseat but i'm still doing it on and off. I'll be posting some pages from my sketchbook soon. Its annoying not having my scanner connected to a computer with photoshop!

I'm hoping to head over to the Wirksworth festival soon and check out whats happening, it'll be nice to get out and see somewhere new. I'll also be volunteering during Derby Fest and helping out at the Architects of Air Luminarium. I'll just be a stewardess but it should be fun talking to the visitors. Plus, every bit of experience helps right!

Hi blog, long time no posting.

Got a couple of ideas i'm working on, mainly projects to sell and make some moo-lah so i'm pandering to retail trends and going with the good old cakes and tea angle, sold at a local chocolatier shop. :) With my own quirky imagination giving it some twists of course. ;)

Hello! After a month of non-art i'm back and raring to make up for lost time! I'm currently going through lots of old sketches and using them as bases to practise my digital techniques on! Very basic at the minute but i'm determined for them to improve. I need to add basic character design to my portfolio of work anyway. :)

La Fete by Malcolm Sutherland is a really lovely piece of animation. It also shows a range of people types and actions, gestures which i'm finding really influencing at the moment. :)

Uwe Heidschoetter is also fantastic for people, gestures and posture! :)

Vlog

Wolves are wonderful, with their wagging white teeth and sparkling fluffy tails. Or was that wagging fluffy tails and sparkling white teeth. Hm. How wonderfully odd.
I've been drawing wolves or at least dog like creatures, they appear to be a combination of wolves, foxes and dogs to great a hound of burdenous secrets. I may have just created a word but you understood the context so it's fine. :)

Skullduggery gallery

Hi! I've been working hard on my exhibition projects but yesterday i had a break from that to do some good! I helped out at a fundraising art auction where artists come and paint a piece during the day to be sold in the evening. :) It was such a great day, i really enjoyed it and will be doing more of them soon! Heres my finished piece!
